MONMOUTH JUNCTION, NJ - Five different skaters scored for Reading as the Royals downed the Trenton Titans 5-2 in front of a sold-out crowd at Princeton Sports Center.

Kemp getting whistled for delay of game, Rosario Ruggeri blasted a slapshot during a 5-on-3 that beat Yutaka Fukufuji and put the Titans up 2-1 heading into the first intermission.
In the second period, it was all Reading. The Royals rattled off three goals just 3:17 apart to take command of the match. Grant Jacobson tied the score 2-2 at 4:47 of the middle frame off of a nice pass by Malcolm MacMIllan. Larry Courville then gave Reading the lead for good with a snapshot that beat Houle over the left shoulder. Mike Kompon capped the three-goal surge with a shorthanded tally at 8:04 of the second to make it 4-2 in favor of the Royals.
Doug Christiansen notched a power play goal at 8:27 of the third period to cap the scoring for Reading. Fukufuji stopped 34 of 36 shots for the victory. Houle turned away 20 shots in the loss.
