Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals' Dino Kambeitz electrified the crowd with the game winning goal, his second of the night, with 11 seconds remaining in regulation as the club downed the Vancouver Giants 4-3 on Saturday night.

Coastal Clash - Tonight marked the 10th and final match-up of the regular season between the Royals and Giants. Victoria posted a 7-3-0-0 record in the season series and outscored Vancouver 35-29.
Milestone Man - Royals' defenceman Kade Jensen played in his 300th career WHL game tonight. Jensen, who has split time between the Royals, Brandon Wheat Kings (2017), Swift Current Broncos (2015-17), and Lethbridge Hurricanes (2013-15), has recorded a total of 65 points (21g-44a) to go along with 393 penalty minutes in 300 career contests.
Red Hot - With three assists on the night, Matthew Phillips has extended his point streak to 21 games. Phillips has registered 40 points (16g-24a) during the span of his franchise record setting streak. The Calgary Flames' prospect sits one point away from the 100-point benchmark, in which he would become the first Royal and second skater in franchise history to reach the feat.
Brickhouse - With his victory tonight, Royals' netminder Griffen Outhouse (83) is just one win from tying the all-time franchise mark for most career wins at 84, which is held by alumnus Coleman Vollrath (2012-16).
