Kelowna Rockets News Release
The Kelowna Rockets fell 3-2 to the Edmonton Oil Kings at Prospera Place on Saturday night.
Rockets Captain Cal Foote(15) got Kelowna on the board first at 5:34 of the first frame with a one-timer from the blue line that found it's way to the back of the net. Conner McDonald(5) responded on an Oil Kings power play to even things at 1-1 at 11:58. The score remained tied at 1-1 through 20 minutes of play.
In the middle stanza Braydyn Chizen(5) pulled the Rockets back ahead by one after snapping a point shot through traffic at 5:52. Former Rockets forward Tomas Soustal(16) scored for the Oil Kings at 15:09 to even things up once again. The game was knotted 2-2 after 40 minutes.
