Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals were defeated 5-1 by the Kelowna Rockets, at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, on Saturday night.

Outstanding Oliver: Royals' forward Kaid Oliver recorded his team leading 14th point (7g-7a) of the season with the club's lone goal in the game. Oliver is currently on a three-game point streak where he has registered two goals and three assists. The third year forward has tallied at least one point in nine of the 11 games he has played in this season.
Victoria Boy: Victoria, BC native and Rocket's forward Ted Brennan scored in tonight's game. His goal was his first tally and third career point against his hometown team. Brennan, who played for the South Island Royals (2015-16) and Saanich Braves (2016-17), was selected by Kelowna in the third round, 64th overall, in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.
First Career Goal: Kelowna forward Ethan Ernst scored his team's fifth goal of the night, into an empty net, for his first career WHL tally.
