Rebels Get by ICE 4-3 in OT

Red Deer, AB - Alexander Alexeyev scored at the 1:15 mark of overtime as the Red Deer Rebels edged the Kootenay ICE 4-3 in extra time on Saturday night.

ICE forward Jaeger White potted two goals in the game including one that sent the game into OT in the final few minutes of the third period. Brett Davis added the other goal for the ICE while goaltender Duncan McGovern stopped 28-of-32 shots.

The ICE have needed extra time to decide a game four times in the last seven games. The ICE are 1-3 in those four games.
