Victoria, BC- The Victoria Royals dropped a 10-4 decision to the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Tuesday night at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Record Watch - After registering a goal and an assist in tonight's contest, Royals' forward Tyler Soy is within one point of tying the all-time franchise record for most career points. Currently, the record is held by former Royal and Chilliwack Bruin Brandon Magee who totalled 264 points (113g-151a) over his 318-game career.
Feisty Affair - A total of 33 penalty minutes in tonight's contest marked the highest amount that the Royals have had in a game this season. The previous high was 31 penalty minutes on September 23rd, 2017 against the Vancouver Giants.
PK Party - Tyler Soy's shorthanded marker in tonight's game was the Royals' eighth shorthanded goal of the season. Victoria sits second in the CHL with their eight shorthanded markers, behind the Ontario Hockey League's Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds (10).
Multi-Point Night - With three points (1g-2a) tonight, Victoria captain Matthew Phillips recorded his 13th multi-point game of the season. Phillips has also recorded at least a point in 22 of the Royals' 25 games in the 2017-18 campaign.
