Red Deer Rebels News Release
RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the trade of 18-year old forward Akash Bains to the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a 6th round selection in the 2019 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Bains is in his second season with the Rebels, he's played in 86 WHL games, scoring 8 goals and 17 assists for 25 points. He was a 9th round pick of the Rebels in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.
Additionally, it was also announced that upon mutual agreement, Assistant Coach Brett Anderson has left the team due to personal reasons.
