
ROYALS ACQUIRE DRAFT PICK IN TRADE WITH CHIEFS

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals today announced that the club has acquired a sixth round draft pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for the rights to 2000-born unsigned forward Sean Gulka.
Gulka was selected by the Royals in the ninth round, 182nd overall in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.
Victoria concludes their three game homestand this weekend with games on Friday and Saturday night against the defending WHL Champion Seattle Thunderbirds. Friday's contest is Downie Wenjack Fund Night, where Mike Downie, the Co-Founder of the Downie & Wenjack Fund as well as the co-creator of the graphic novel and film, The Secret Path, will be in attendance. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. for both contests.
