The Rockets Take on the Chiefs in Spokane

Kelowna Rockets News Release
The Kelowna Rockets get set to take on the Spokane Chiefs as they make a visit to the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena on Wednesday evening.
The Rockets are coming off of a strong four game home-stand in which they went 4-0-0-0, but were short bodies when they went into Langley on Saturday and fell 6-1. Video, Development, and Goaltending Coach Adam Brown says a tough loss at the hands of the Giants was a learning experience for the younger players.
"We had a lot of young guys playing a lot more minutes than they're used to playing," Brown said. "Their eyes were opened a little bit to some aspects of what it takes to be successful every night. That's something they've taken into practice in between and they're addressing for this weekend."
This is the first of four meetings between these two teams thus far this season. The Rockets return for their second matchup in Spokane just nine days later on December 1st. The Chiefs don't visit Kelowna until the new year. They come through the Okanagan on January 10th, 2018 and March 4th, 2018.
Kelowna and Spokane met four times last season with the Chiefs winning three of those four in overtime by scores of 2-1, 3-2, and 5-4. In their final meeting of the 2016-17 regular season the Rockets skated to a 9-5 victory in Spokane on February 26th, 2017.
Puck drop on Wednesday night is at 7:05pm.
The Rockets close out their three game road trip with a stop back in Langley for a rematch with the Giants on Friday, November 24th. Puck drop for that one is at 7:30pm.
The club returns home on Saturday, November 25th for the first meeting with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the 2017-18 regular season. Puck drop is 7:05pm.
