
Royals' Coleman Vollrath Nominated for Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week

Victoria, BC- The Western Hockey League announced that Victoria Royals' goaltender Coleman Vollrath, for the second consecutive week, has been nominated by the WHL for the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week.
The native of Calgary, AB appeared in four games for the Royals this past week and collected a 3-1-0-0 record with a 1.00 goals against average (GAA), a 0.960 save percentage (SV%) and a shutout.
The 6-0, 170 lb goaltender recently passed Royals' alumni Patrik Polivka for most victories in club history with 59. Vollrath, who has spent his entire junior career in Victoria, is currently one win behind former Chilliwack Bruin Lucas Gore (60) for the most victories in franchise history.
This marks the second straight week and third time in his career that Vollrath has been nominated for the award. Vollrath won his first Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week award in March of last season.
The 1995-born netminder has played in all seven games for Victoria this season and has posted a 7-1-0-0 record with a GAA of 1.63, a SV% of 0.938 and one shutout.
Vollrath is in his fourth and final WHL season and has registered a mark of 59-36-4-4 to go along with eight shutouts, a 2.79 GAA, and a 0.910 SV% in 122 games played.
