Raiders' Brendan Guhle Returned by Buffalo Sabres

Prince Albert, SK - Prince Albert Raiders announced on Tuesday that defenceman Brendan Guhle has been returned to the team by the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres.

Guhle was selected by the Sabres in the second round, 51st overall, in the 2015 NHL Draft. The Sherwood Park, AB product was signed by the NHL team to a three-year entry-level contract on July 27. In four games with Buffalo during the NHL pre-season, Guhle picked up two assists and recorded an even plus-minus rating.

The six-foot-two, 189-pound blue liner dressed in all 72 games for the Raiders last season, compiling five goals and 27 assists for 32 points.

Guhle is expected to make his 2015-16 debut with the Raiders tonight as the team takes on the Portland Winterhawks.

The Prince Albert Raiders return to the Art Hauser Centre on Friday, October 23, when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors in their Pink in the Rink game. During the game, the Raiders will wear pink-themed jerseys that are available for purchase through an online auction and a live auction after the game.
