Milestone Man: Royals' forward Kody McDonald played in his 300th career WHL game. Along with Victoria, McDonald also played for the Prince George Cougars (2013-2018) and Prince Albert Raiders (2018-19). Over six WHL seasons, the native of Lethbridge, AB has tallied 177 points (84g-93a).
Former Silvertip: Royals' defenceman Jameson Murray played in his first contest against the Everett Silvertips as a member of the Victoria Royals. Murray, who was acquired by the Royals this past offseason, dressed in seven games for the Silvertips last season.
Everett Connection: Royals' forward Alex Bolshakov, who played in his second WHL game tonight, is a product of the Everett Junior Silvertips Under-16 Team. In 12 games with the Junior Silvertips this season, Bolshakov has registered eight points (5g-3a).
