OMAHA, NE - The Omaha Royals game vs. the Iowa Cubs, scheduled for 7:05 p.m. tonight at Rosenblatt Stadium, has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will make up the postponed game by playing a doubleheader tomorrow night, with the first pitch of the opener set for 5:05 p.m.

Since Thirsty Thursday was rained out tonight, on Friday night select cans of beer will be sold for $1, while supplies last, courtesy of 96.1 The Brew, Action 3 News and The City Weekly!

NAIFA Fireworks follow Friday night's twinbill, plus the world-renowned Bucket Boys perform during the contest, presented by infoUSA. The evening is also brought to you by KAT 103, KETV and The City Weekly.

In Friday's opener, the pitching matchup will send Iowa lefty Rich Hill (1-2, 4.41) against Royals right-hander Brandon Duckworth (2-4, 4.82). In the nightcap, Cubs righty Randy Wells (4-1, 2.35) faces Omaha southpaw Tyler Lumsden (2-6, 6.58).
