OMAHA, NE - The O-Royals Road Show hits the road next week. Beginning next Tuesday and continuing for the next few weeks, Royals staff members will be visiting nearby communities in Nebraska and Iowa on a goodwill tour to talk about the Royals and give kids in those towns a fun event to attend.
On each of the O-Royals Road Show appearances, the team will set up its 20-foot tall inflatable of its mascot, Casey, as well as another fun inflatable like a bounce house for kids to enjoy. The Royals staff will also be distributing pocket schedules and pennants to local businesses. They will also be promoting the team's new Coca-Cola 6-pack, which includes six General Admission vouchers for just $24 - a $36 value - redeemable at most Royals home games in 2008.
"The Omaha Royals are excited about extending our fan base to some surrounding communities," said Royals General Manager Martie Cordaro. "This year's inaugural O-Royals Road Show will give our staff a chance to spread the word about the great happenings of our 40th season throughout Nebraska and Iowa."
