Brockton put distance between themselves and North Shore in the standings with a come-from-behind 5-3 win. Down 3-0, the Rox scored two in the fourth on a home run from 3B Jake Daubert and three more in the fifth on RBI singles from 1B Brian Jones, DH Francisco Matos, and Daubert. Starter Derek Anderson, Anthony Stutz, and Tony Runion shut down the Spirit the rest of the way for the win, allowing only one baserunner in the final five innings.
