Belting five home runs, Elmira increased their winning streak to three games with a 15-5 thrashing of the Aces. The Pioneers were up 7-0 after a five-run third, and added five more in a sixth inning that saw solo homers from LF Jason Bryan and 1B Steve Checksfield and a three-run blast from DH Yuji Nerei. Bryan finished the evening 3-for-4 with four runs scored, while 3B J.P. Schmidt and C Yohanny Valera both had two hits for the Aces.
