Aces News Release

Bangor 1B Mark Burke blasted a three-run shot in the first inning and the Lumberjacks went on cruise control the rest of the way, riding an excellent performance from starter Jerry Long to win 4-0. Long threw six shutout innings, limiting the Aces to two hits and striking out five, while Ben Fox came in to shut down the Aces during the final three innings, allowing only one hit. Bangor's other run came on an RBI single from CF Kazuhiro Kohno in the fifth.
