Aces News Release
Quebec extended their North Division lead to one game over idle North Shore with a 12-8 win over the Aces. It was a good night for the Capitales' Quebecers, as RF Benoît Ãmond went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI, while C Olivier Lépine hit two doubles and scored three runs. Starter Paul Jacinto improved his record to 5-0 with an excellent outing, scattering eight hits and allowing no earned runs in seven innings of work. The Capitales were up 12-2 after seven innings, but the Aces offense woke up and scored six runs in the ninth until Seth Johnson came in to shut the door. Six different players had two hits for the Aces.
