Brockton Rox News Release
BROCKTON - The Rox return home for a seven game series on July 31st to face the Quebec Capitales and the New Haven County Cutters. Coming off of a seven game road trip, Brockton looks to enjoy the friendly confines of Campanelli Stadium. As always, fans can also expect some great entertainment during this series.
The Brockton Rox will host Support the Troops night on Monday, July 31st and will be collecting items with the help of the Pak Point Veterans' Council to ship in care packages to local men and women currently deployed to Iraq and Afganistan. You can help by bringing any of the following items to the game that night: powdered drink mix, coffee, tea bags, sugar, non dairy creamer, hard candy, shaving supplies, AA batteries, white cotton t-shirts, and zip-loc bags all sizes.
Take a bite out of crime and join the Rox for the third National Night Out Against Crime presented by A Partnership for a Safer Community on Tuesday, August 1st. The National Night Out is designed to raise awareness about crime and drug prevention to make our communities safer for our children and families. Brockton and surrounding towns will be giving out awards to deserving citizens for dedication to their communities.
Skip work for the day and join the Rox for an afternoon delight at noon on Wednesday, August 2nd. Don't forget to grab your bingo card to play Baseball Bingo throughout the game, courtesy of Carousel Family Fun Centers.
Kids take over the stadium on Thursday, August 3rd for Kids Rock! presented by Sovereign Bank. Lucky kids ages 6-13 will take over various Rox jobs ranging from Usher to the General Manager during the game.
Tickets for this week's homestand are still available to purchase. Call the ticket office at 508-559-7070. Don't miss out on a great series at Campanelli Stadium!
