Brockton Rox News Release
Opening Day is just one day away! The 2007 Brockton Rox Regular Season begins on Friday Night, May 25th, as the Rox take on the New Haven County Cutters at Campanelli Stadium at 7:00 PM. The first 5,000 fans through the gates receive a 2007 Brockton Rox Magnet Schedule, and after the game all fans will be treated to a postgame fireworks display, all courtesy of the Bank of Canton.
Chris Miyake begins his second season as the Manager of the Brockton Rox. Last year, Miyake's club reached the 2006 Can Am League Championship series, coming within outs of a championship. The club returns nine players from the 2006 roster, including 2006 Rox Batter of the Year Guye Senjem and Pitcher of the Year John Kelly. The 94-game Can-Am League season includes 52 home games for the Rox.
The Rox are at home from Friday through Wednesday, May 30th. On Saturday, the Zooperstars make their only 2007 appearance at Campanelli Stadium, and Sunday is a Disney themed Family Funday, featuring face painting, pony rides, balloon animals, and more!
Tickets are still available by calling the Rox Ticket Office at (508) 559-7070.
