Nashua Pride Opening Homestand

The Nashua Pride would like to welcome all fans to opening weekend 2007. The weekend is jammed packed with fun themes and promotions. The Pride is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Nashua.

The Pride opens its season Thursday night at 7:05pm. The World Famous Monkey Boy will be on-hand to entertain fans in between innings. Before the game, fans will be entertained by Nashua South High School's band and color guard. All fans that walk through the gate will receive a 2007 magnet schedule.

Friday night will mark the Pride pitching debut for Japanese standout Akira Okomoto. The first 1,250 fans through the gate will receive an A-OK vs. Dice-K t-shirt. Fans will be entertained by Jake "The Diamond" Dog during the game and by fireworks by Atlas Fireworks immediately following the game. Also, there will be a raffle to win tickets to The Police at Fenway Park. Catch all the action beginning at 7:05pm.

Join us Saturday night at 7:05pm for a tribute to Jimmy Buffett. The Grinning Lizards will be on-hand to perform Buffett cover songs. The first 1,250 fans that walk through the gate will receive tropical cups courtesy of Advanced Spa and Pool. Stick around after the game for a fireworks show by Atlas Fireworks.

Sunday is the Pride's 10th birthday party and you're invited! Frederick's Pastries will be providing a slice of cake to the first 1,500 fans at the ballpark. Additionally, ZOOperstars and magician Steve Thomas will be present to entertain fans during the game. Join us for Family Fun Day starting at 2:05pm.

Make sure to check out the new Left Field Pub. From 5:30 to 7:30 each night, Left Field Pub features an all you can eat BBQ buffet and drink specials for just $15. Otherwise, take in the game from the cheap seats for just $5 in what's bound to be a fan favorite spot at Historic Holman Stadium.
