The Spirit (1-0) broke a scoreless tie in the top of the fourth when Perez stroked a single to right field bringing home Mike Torres with the first North Shore run. Both runs came against Nashua starter and loser Tim Bausher (0-1) who scattered five hits over five innings, walking three and striking out four.

North Shore added a single run in the eighth inning on a leadoff triple by Perez and a sacrifice fly off the bat of B.J. Weed. The Spirit completed their scoring in the eighth with three runs on a two-run single by Rea and a run-scoring single by Perez.
The Pride added a run in the eighth on a Bryan Duplissie double which scored Jose Velazquez.
