Round Rock Express To Host Special Screeening of "The Sandlot"

ROUND ROCK, Texas - "You're Killing Me Smalls!" A film that still captures the hearts of baseball fans young and old, The Sandlot is celebrating the big 2-0 at Dell Diamond on Tuesday, June 25. The Round Rock Express will host a special screening of the iconic coming-of-age film "The Sandlot" on Dell Diamond's HD LED video board.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for the special event with a "first-pitch" time of 7:05. Tickets are $8 and all kids two and under are free. Fans can purchase a special four-pack of tickets for just $25.
Before the movie begins, director and narrator of the film, David Mickey Evans, will introduce the screening, host a question and answer session with fun giveaways and be available for autographs and pictures. Fans are invited to bring blankets to enjoy the film from the outfield at Dell Diamond. Please note chairs will not be permitted on the outfield grass. Select stadium concessions and beverages will be available for purchase.
Fans can also purchase "Sandlot" merchandise including The Sandlot 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray + DVD, which will be available on the concourse. PF Flyers, the shoes that let Benny "The Jet" jump higher and run faster, will also be on-site to give away a few pairs of PF Flyers Original Sandlot Shoes.
Tickets are on sale now through the Round Rock Express website and at the ticket office at Dell Diamond.
