ROUND ROCK, Texas - After a season-opening, eight-game road trip, the Round Rock Express return to The Dell Diamond for an eight-game home stand that begins Friday as the Express begin a four-game series against the Iowa Cubs (Chicago Cubs). First pitch for Friday's home opener is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CDT. The series continues Saturday at 7:05 p.m., Sunday at 1:05 p.m. and Monday at 7:05 p.m.
Tickets for all Express home games are available through the Express ticket office at 512.255.2255 ext. 6 or online at www.RoundRockExpress.com .
Along with traditional Opening Day festivities, postgame fireworks presented by Bud Light follow Friday's game. All fans will receive Express schedule magnets, and the traditional Memorial First Pitch will take place prior to the game. Express baseball caps will be available for the first 2,500 fans Saturday, presented by Nyle Maxwell Family of Dealerships. Sunday is H-E-B Kids' Day, and dollar Hot Dogs, presented by Mrs Baird's, returns for Monday night's game.
H-E-B Kids' Day includes events centered around the Junior Sluggers program, presented by A+ Federal Credit Union. For $15, children ages 12 and under receive tickets to 15 games, a Junior Sluggers T-Shirt, a Fun Zone punch card 10-percent discount in the Railyard Team Store, a 10-percent discount on Express baseball and softball camps, an A+ Federal Credit Union $10 savings account voucher, a club newsletter, and a VIP front-of-the-line pass for running the bases after Sunday home games.
