Roughnecks Unveil 10th Anniversary Jersey and Logo

CALGARY- To celebrate their 10th season the Calgary Roughnecks have designed a new jersey and logo to commemorate their anniversary. The new logo will represent the Roughnecks 10 years in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).
The new jersey captures the "Xtreme" factor the Roughnecks are looking for in the 2011 season, incorporating the roman numeral 'X' into the entire production of the jersey and the backdrop of the new logo.
The 2011 season hold great promise for the Calgary Roughnecks as they enter their 10th season. Announced yesterday, Cory Conway has signed a two-year deal with the Roughnecks joining summer lax teammates Dane Dobbie and Daryl Veltman to make up a triple threat on the floor.
In addition to the young talent Roughnecks fans will get to enjoy in 2011, veteran leaders Kaleb Toth and Andrew McBride will be returning to the turf to lead the team.
The Roughnecks became a member of the NLL in 2001 when they were awarded an expansion franchise. Since that time the Roughnecks have become one of the premiere organizations in the NLL. The Roughnecks have made the playoffs every year, with the exception of their inaugural season in 2002. In 10 years the Calgary Roughnecks have won the Champions Cup twice, in 2004 and 2009.
