
Rookie Haggett Joins Titans

TRENTON, NJ (March 19, 2005) âThe Trenton Titans today announced that have agreed to terms with rookie forward Les Haggett for the remainder of the 2004-05 season. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Les is a skilled forward that sees the ice very well and has been a top scorer in his league," said Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Mike Haviland. "He's shown good leadership skills with a quality program at Brown and we're excited to see him contribute to the Titans."
Haggett, 6'0", 192 lbs, comes to Trenton having just finished his collegiate career with Brown University. The Norwood, NY native led the Bears in scoring this season with 11 goals and 15 assists in 36 games. Haggett registered 101 points (35g, 66a) and 85 penalty minutes in 121 games overall during his four-year career at Brown. The 24-year old also finished second in team scoring his sophomore and junior seasons behind current Titan forward, Brent Robinson. Haggett will wear #28 and will be in the line-up tonight when the Titans face off against the Toledo Storm at 7:30pm.
