Rome Returns To Reading

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have loaned defenseman Reagan Rome to the ECHL's Reading Royals, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Rome, 24, has played in 13 games with the Monarchs since his recall on December 31, 2005, registering four assists and 23 penalty minutes. Rome has also appeared in 21 games with the Royals this season, collecting 15 points (3-12=15) and 38 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound native of Nesbitt, Manitoba, collected 21 points (2-19=21) and 140 penalty minutes in 62 games with the Royals last season.

The Monarchs continue their five-game homestand with game three on Wednesday, February 8 at 7:05 p.m. as they host the San Antonio Rampage at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
