Rome Makes Roster Moves

The Rome Braves announce several roster moves. Pitchers Ryan Weber and Dalton Acord have been moved to the Danville Braves roster of the Appalachian League. Weber was 0-4 with a 7.33 ERA in 12 games. In limited play, Acord was 0-0 8.59 ERA in six appearances. Rome also sends infielders Mycal Jones and Osman Marval along with pitcher Arodys Vizcaino to Myrtle Beach of the Carolina League. Jones was hitting .261 while Marval was hitting .226. Vizcaino is enjoying a fine season with an 8-3 record and 2.52 ERA. He is among the league leaders in wins.

Rome activates LHP Stephen Kent from the disabled list, and RHP Steven Figueroa, and RHP Caleb Brewer are received from Danville along with infielder Chris Lovett. The Braves begin a three game series with the Greenville Drive tonight 7PM.
