Rome Emperors News Release
Rome, GA - The Rome Braves announce that outfielder Jon Owings will join the team on Saturday September 3rd in Greenville. Owings, a Gainesville, GA native comes to Rome by way of the Danville Braves of the Appalachian League where he hit .293 with 12 homers and 31 RBI.
Rome begins a four game series against the Greenville Bombers tonight concluding the 2005 season on Monday.
