Columbus Catfish to Help Victims of Katrina

Columbus, GA -The Columbus Catfish, in cooperation with the American Red Cross, will be hosting a Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund Collection at Golden Park to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina. By making a financial gift to the Hurricane 2005 Relief, the Red Cross can provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need.

Donations to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund can be made with cash or check, made payable to the American Red Cross. In support of the collection, the Catfish will give all fans making a donation at the stadium a ticket to the future game during the 2005 season. The Catfish begin their final series of the 2005 season tonight against the Charleston RiverDogs (New York Yankees) beginning at 7:00pm. Tickets for this series can be purchased by contacting the Catfish Box Office at (706) 571-8866.
