Rogers, Manzueta Reinstated; Burg to Disabled List; Logan to Jupiter

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Miami Marlins announced a series of transactions that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Suns roster prior to today's game against the Huntsville Stars at Joe Davis Stadium at 2 p.m. ET.
Infielder/outfielder Alex Burg has been placed on the disabled list with a neck strain. Burg has played in 76 games this season for the Suns, hitting .264 with seven home runs and 29 RBI.
Pitchers Jay Rogers and Jheyson Manzueta have been reinstated to the Suns active roster. Rogers was reinstated from the temporary inactive list, while Manzueta was reinstated from the suspended list.
In a corresponding move, right-handed relief pitcher Blake Logan has been transferred from the Suns to High-A Jupiter. Logan worked three scoreless innings in relief for the Suns in Sunday's win over Huntsville, and in two Jacksonville relief appearances he has no wins or losses and a spotless ERA. With the Hammerheads this season, Logan is 0-3 with a 3.79 ERA in 19 appearances.
The Suns roster now stands at 24 active players, and a revised roster is attached.
The Suns and Stars will be back at it on Monday, with first pitch of the series finale set for 1:00 p.m. CT (2:00 p.m. ET). The Suns will start right-hander Dustin Moseley (1-1, 3.46) while the Stars will counter with left-hander Brent Suter (9-8, 4.34).
