(POMONA, NY) -The Rockland Boulders will host their first ever "Star Wars Night" on Friday, July 31 at 7:00pm when they host the Quebec Capitales. Presented by Dig Safely NY, and benefitting the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, the night will include special themed jerseys to be signed and auctioned off as well as characters from the famed movie franchise.
"We recommend you pop into light speed and head to the Provident Bank Park box office adding Star Wars Night to our best promotional schedule in history will sell well," said Ken Lehner, President playing off the famous Han Solo line "Now hang onto your fur...were going to pop into light speed."
Rockland will take their game to a galaxy far, far away when the Boulders take on Quebec on Friday, July 31 at Provident Bank Park. Fans will enjoy music, clips, and characters from the famed Star Wars franchise and are encouraged to join in the fight against the Evil Empire. The first 1,000 fans to enter the ballpark will be armed with a commemorative Laser Sword to help in the rebellion.
The Boulders will commemorate the date with special themed jerseys, featuring Jedi Master Yoda, which will be auctioned off during the game. All proceeds from the auction, and that night's 50/50 raffle, will go to benefit the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center.
As part of the themed night, fans can purchase their own "Star Wars Pack" to book their ticket aboard this galactic ride. This special ticket pack includes four (4) outfield box seats, four (4) hot dogs, bags of chips, and Cokes, and a guaranteed commemorative Laser Sword for only $49!
