
Rockford Rings In New Year With Five Game Home Stand

After 24 road games through the season's first 35 contests, the Rockford IceHogs finally get to stay home. Rockford ran its streak of games with a standings point to 16 (11-0-1-4) during Week 13 and now begin a five game home stand starting on Monday against Milwaukee.
Wednesday, Dec. 26: Rockford 4 at Peoria 3 OT
Thursday, Dec. 27: Rockford 3 at Chicago 4 OT
Saturday, Dec. 29: Rockford 4 at Peoria 2

Winger Troy Brouwer played in his 100th career AHL game on Thursday in Chicago
Brouwer scored his team-leading 15th goal of the season on Saturday in Peoria, but only his second even strength goal
Hot Hog Week 13:
Troy Brouwer, the IceHogs leading goal scorer, had a point in all three of Rockford's games during Week 13. Brouwer chipped in his team-leading 15th goal of the season in Saturday's 4-2 win at Peoria and had a three-game plus/minus rating of +4 and a team best 14 shots on goal.

Monday, Dec. 31 vs. Milwaukee Admirals. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Welcome in the New Year with the IceHogs as they take on the Admirals at the MetroCentre. Come for the hockey and stick around for a post game concert as the IceHogs and 23WIFR-TV welcome Seven Mary Three to the MetroCentre.
Wednesday, Jan. 2 vs. Hamilton Bulldogs. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. Rockford welcomes the defending Calder Cup Champion Bulldogs to the MetroCentre for the first and only meeting in Rockford. The game is the second and final overall in 2007-08 and is presented by Captain Morgan.
Friday, Jan. 4 vs. Chicago Wolves. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. The Hogs and Wolves meet for the first time in Rockford and fourth overall. The first 1,000 fans to the game on Friday will pick up Fleece IceHogs Hat courtesy of Mega Truck Rental and BOB FM.
Saturday, Jan. 5 vs. Lake Erie Monsters. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs wrap up a four-game week at home against the Monsters at the MetroCentre. The game is the third overall between the two clubs and first in Rockford. The first 1,000 fans to the game will pick up an IceHogs Fleece Stadium Blanket sponsored by Lonnies Carpet Max.

Rockford IceHogs fans can catch all of the IceHogs regular and post-season games on the Hogs flagship radio station Rockford's Voice, WNTA-AM 1330 and 30 regular season games on ESPN Radio 1380-AM, WTJK. No Hog Talk This Week At Cousin's Bar and Grill:
There will not be a Bud Light Hog Talk tonight at Cousin's Bar and Grill because of the New Year. The show will return on Monday, Jan. 6. The show is hosted by Jim Stone and Double T and features IceHogs players and coaches. The show runs from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and can also be heard live on 1330AM WNTA.
