
Bulldogs Set For Five Games In The Next Seven Days

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs (American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) will play five games in the next seven days, including four road contests and one game at Copps Coliseum. Hamilton will clash with the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings) at 7:00 p.m. tonight (Monday, December 31st) in a New Years Eve tilt at Van Andel Arena. The Bulldogs will then head to the Rockford MetroCentre on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008 to take on the IceHogs (AHL Affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks) at 8:05 p.m., before returning home to host Grand Rapids at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 4th at Copps Coliseum.
The 'Dogs will then round out the week with two road games on the weekend. On Saturday, January 5th at 4:00 p.m., Hamilton will play the Toronto Marlies (AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) at Ricoh Coliseum, before traveling to the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland on Sunday, January 6th to take on the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) at 5:00 p.m.
Last week, Hamilton posted a 1-2-0-0 record in three games against North Division rivals. The Bulldogs defeated the Manitoba Moose 3-1 at Copps Coliseum on Thursday, December 27th, before dropping a 4-1 decision to the Rochester Americans at Blue Cross Arena on Friday, December 28th and a 4-3 loss to the Toronto Marlies on Saturday, December 29th at Copps Coliseum.

- C Ryan Russell tallied his first-career AHL goal and point on Dec. 27 vs. MTB (3-1 W). C Mathieu Aubin and D Mathieu Biron also each tallied their first goals of the season in the game
