HICKORY, NC - 3B Drew Robinson belted a game-winning RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Hickory Crawdads to the walk-off 6-5 win against the West Virginia Power, before 2,758 fans at L.P. Frans Stadium on Saturday night . With Robinson's second game-winning hit in the last eight days, the 'Dads have now won six straight games.

The Crawdads (29-25) raced out to an early lead against LHP Zack Dodson. DH Zach Cone led off the bottom of the second frame with a single, which led to a throwing error by 3B Kirk Singer, allowing Cone to get to second base. After a strikeout, LF Jeremy Williams reached on a fielding miscue and C Kellin Deglan worked a walk, loading the bases. RF Jordan Akins then drove an RBI sacrifice fly to left field, plating Cone for the 1-0 lead.

Hickory added three more runs to the early lead in the bottom of the third. 2B Luis Sardinas started the stanza by being hit by a pitch and moved to second on a bunt single by SS Hanser Alberto. Cone then bounced an RBI single up the middle, scoring Sardinas and moving Alberto to third base. When he saw the throw go home, Cone took off for second and drew an errant throw from C Elias Diaz, which allowed Alberto to score from third on the same play. After Cone moved to third on a fly out, Williams drove him in with an RBI single to stretch the lead to 4-0.

The Power (18-38) started chipping away against RHP Luke Jackson and the 'Dads in the top of the fourth. CF Greg Polanco led off with a single, before racing home on an RBI double by 1B Jose Osuna, making it 4-1.

West Virginia then came within a run of tying it in the top of the fifth. RF Junior Sosa singled his way on, before trotting home on a two-run homer by SS Alen Hanson later in the inning, cutting the 'Dads lead to 4-3.

Hickory padded the lead with an RBI single by 1B Jhonny Gomez in the bottom of the eighth, but the Power came back to tie it, 5-5, in the top of the ninth inning. Hickory LHP Greg Williams (W, 2-0) retired the first batter of the inning, but Sosa hit another single to reach base. C Elias Diaz and Hanson then drove consecutive RBI doubles, tying the game and forcing the bottom of the ninth.

Facing West Virginia LHP Robbie Kilcrease (L, 0-1) in the bottom of the ninth, Alberto placed a one-out single to left-center field.
