Estero, FL: The Road Warriors came back again to steal two points from the Everblades, winning in shootouts 5-4.

The first period featured a goalie showcase between Nathan Lieuwen and John Muse. Both goaltenders made huge stops on scoring opportunities. Marc-Olivier Vallerand would break the scoreless tie with a shorthanded goal that beat Muse short-side, glove high.

The second period brought more action with three powerplay goals and five penalties. The first goal was scored by Florida's Leigh Salters but Vallerand would respond with his second of the night and seventh of the season. Kenndal McArdle received a game misconduct and a five minute major for spearing which set the Everblades up for a lengthy powerplay in the closing minutes of the period. Florida would tie it up again with Matt Beca's sixth goal of the season.

Florida began the third period with the major carrying over but did not convert again. David Rutherford scored halfway through the period to bring the Everblades up by a goal. Florida got another powerplay and capitalized again off a goal from Mathieu Roy with his ninth of the season. Florida's powerplay, which is third in the league, was 3-5 on the night. The Road Warriors pushed back with Mike Marcou one-timing a goal past Muse. 53 seconds later the game was tied by newcomer Andrew Yogan.

Overtime was forced and the Everblades outshot Greenville 3-1 but the game remained tied. The Road Warriors thrived in shootouts again as Lieuwen stopped all four shots and secured the victory. He stopped 30 of 34 shots. Brandon Wong and Francis Verreault scored to finish the comeback. Muse took the loss stopping 26 of 30 shots.
