ELMIRA, N.Y. - November 30, 2012 - After five days without a game the Elmira Jackals are back in action tonight as they host the Wheeling Nailers. Tongiht's game marks the conclusion of the Jackals' six-game home stand.

WHO: Elmira Jackals - Ottawa/NHL & Binghamton/AHL (9-7-1) vs. Wheeling Nailers - Pittsburgh and Montreal/NHL & Wilkes Barre-Scranton and Hamilton/AHL (5-8-3)

WHAT: Elmira Jackals Home Game #12. Affordable Friday. Hot dogs, sodas, and popcorn will be on sale for $2 each.

WHEN: 7:05 p.m.

Tonight is the third of ten scheduled meetings between the Jackals and Nailers this season, and the third of five games between the teams First Arena. The Jackals are 2-0-0 against Wheeling this season after back-to-back wins on October 19 and 20. Elmira will try to jog an offensive attack that has been limited to four goals in its last three games against a Nailers team that it out-scored by a combined score of 9-2 in their prior two meetings. Wheeling is playing its second game of the week and coming off of a 3-2 home win over the Trenton Titans on Wednesday. The Nailers are going for back-to-back wins for the first time since winning three straight from October 26 to November 1.

Elmira hits the quarter-pole of its 2012-13 campaign tonight and begins an important stretch of its schedule. Beginning tonight the Jackals play each of their next five games against Atlantic Division foes and play Wheeling (1), Trenton (2), and Reading (2) each at least once. As the calendar turns over to December the Jackals play 11 of their next 15 games against the Atlantic Division. For the season the Jackals are 4-1-1 against their division with a 4-1-0 mark at home and an 0-0-1 mark on the road.
