Tonight's Matchup: The San Francisco Bulls continue with their three-game set on the road this weekend with their first meeting of the season against the Utah Grizzlies at the Maverik Center, home of the ice hockey events at the 2002 Winter Olympics.

The Bulls are coming off a wild 6-5 overtime loss to the Wranglers last night in Las Vegas. The Wranglers pulled ahead 5-4 with two goals in 13 seconds, late in the third period. The Bulls then needed some late-game heroics from Sacha Guimond in the final minute to send the game into overtime. In the extra session, Eric Lampe scored from behind the net for a 6-5 Wranglers win.

With the point, the Bulls extended their season-long point streak to five games (4-0-1-0), currently tops in the ECHL. It also pulled them into a tie for fifth place in the Western Conference with the Colorado Eagles.

In the contest, Justin Bowers, earned two assists, extending his assist and point streak to a season-long eight games. Dean Ouellet continued to pot the goals, producing two in the overtime loss. He has seven goals in his last four games, and leads all ECHL rookies in goals and points (19). Also extending their point streaks were Peter Sivak (7), Sacha Guimond (5) and Marek Viedensky (4).

The Bulls take on a Utah Grizzlies team they have faced twice, splitting a pair of contests at the Cow Palace, earlier this month.

Utah has lost their last three games, including two against the Alaska Aces at home last weekend. The latest loss was 5-4 in overtime on Saturday. Zach Morrison netted the overtime winner for Alaska.

Utah continues to be led up front by Bryan Cameron, who has 17 points. Riley Armstrong continues to lead the team with seven goals. Goaltender Andrew Engelage has returned from his injury and is the mainstay between the pipes.
