
Road Warriors Sign Drew Baker

Greenville, SC: Today the Road Warriors announced they have signed defenseman Drew Baker.
Baker, 27, played the majority of the year with the Augusta RiverHawks in the Southern Professional Hockey League. The Dawsonville, Georgia native scored two goals and added nine assists in 42 games played. Baker had a quick stint in with the Gwinnett Gladiators this season. The four defenseman played three game and recorded 10 penalty minutes. Last season, Baker reached personal highs with eight goals, 19 assists and 135 penalty minutes; all with Augusta.
The Road Warriors finish the weekend series today at 4 p.m. against the South Carolina Stingrays for Pink in the Rink Night. The Road Warriors will wear special Pink in the Rink Jerseys in an effort to raise awareness for women's cancers & domestic abuse. The game will feature pink lines on the ice in place of the normal red lines & faceoff circles. In addition, the game worn Pink in the Rink Jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with the proceeds donated to The Mary Kay Foundation. Fans can purchase a special package combining two tickets to the Pink in the Rink Game with two Flex Tickets good for any Road Warriors game this season!
