ECHL announces fines, suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Sunday announced the following fines and suspensions.

Stockton's Hunt fined, suspended

Stockton's Garet Hunt has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #632, Stockton at Ontario, on Feb. 22.

Hunt is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline, for his actions at 14:43 of the second period.

Hunt will miss Stockton's game vs. Bakersfield today (Feb. 24) and any further discipline will be announced later this week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

South Carolina's Bidlevskii fined, suspended

South Carolin'a Art Bidlevskii has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #638, Greenville at South Carolina, on Feb. 23.

Bidlevskii was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for elbowing under Rule #45.5 at 14:08 of the first period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Bidlevskii will miss South Carolina's game at Greenville today (Feb. 24).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Elmira's Harvey fined, suspended

Elmira's Kevin Harvey has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #635, Kalamazoo at Elmira, on Feb. 23.

Harvey is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline, for his actions at 7:23 of the first period.

Harvey will miss Elmira's game vs. Kalamazoo today (Feb. 23) and any further discipline will be announced later this week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Utah's Tuzzolino fined, suspended

Utah's Nick Tuzzolino has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #640, Utah at Colorado, on Feb. 23.

Tuzzolino is fined and suspended under Rule #28, Supplementary Discipline, for his game misconduct at 19:48 of the third period.

Tuzzolino will miss Utah's game at Colorado today (Feb. 24) and any further discipline will be announced later this week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
