Road Warriors Assigned 6-Foot-8 Goaltender, Jason Missiaen

Greenville, SC: The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, announced today Jason Missiaen has been assigned to the team by the Rangers from the Hartford Wolf Pack. In a separate transaction, defenseman Tyler Hinds has been released.

Missiaen, 23, returns to Greenville after playing in 14 games with the Wolf Pack this season. The netminder complied a record of 2-11-1 with a 3.83 goals against average and a .864 save percentage. Missiaen collected 26 wins in 45 career games with Greenville. He was drafted in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens in the 4th round.

Hinds played in seven games with the Road Warriors registering two penalty minutes and a -3 rating. The defenseman played ten games with Utah before coming to Greenville.
