
Riversharks Take Advantage of Five Patriots Errors to Win 3-2

Bridgewater, NJ- The Camden Riversharks (9-18, 38-59) defeated the Somerset Patriots (15-12, 65-32) 3-2 before 7,889 fans at TD Bank Ballpark on Friday night.
The Riversharks took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on a fielder's choice that allowed Carlos Guzman to reach first safely and bring home Michael Rockett.
Somerset answered with two runs in the bottom of the second inning to take a 2-0 lead. Mat Gamel drove home Robert Andino on an RBI triple and later scored on an error.
An error in the top of the third allowed Zach MacPhee to score and tie up the game 2-2.
The game remained tied at 2-2 until the top of the ninth inning when a fielder's choice allowed Eric Frain to score for the 3-2 final.
T.J Chism (2-2) earned the win with a scoreless inning pitched. Buddy Boshers (3-1) suffered the loss, allowing a run in an inning pitched. Matt Gorgen earned his 21st save of the season.
