Mississippi RiverKings News Release
Your Mississippi RiverKings are back in action tonight against the Wichita Thunder at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, beginning at 7:05 PM. Safehaven Ministries is the Featured Non-Profit of the night. Check out what they're doing for the DeSoto County-Mid-South area at their table in the concourse of the DeSoto Civic Center.
Tickets are available through the DCC box office and through Ticketmaster. Call the RiverKings offices at 662-342-1755 for more information about groups and other ticket packages. Season ticket packages for next year are on sale now. Find out more when you come to the game tonight, or call the front office for more information. A $75.00 deposit can have the edge of your seat reserved for all the action of RiverKings hockey next season.
Tomorrow night is the first of several "Sign and Dine" events the RiverKings will be hosting at several establishments. Fans are encouraged to come and meet Coach Kevin Kaminski and RiverKings players, get autographs, and learn more about the men who make up the RiverKings' roster. The schedule of "Sign and Dine" events is listed below:
5-7 p.m. Wed., February 4th at Newk's Express Café, 3075 E. Goodman Rd., Southaven.
5-7 p.m. Wed., February 18th at Applebee's, 710 Desoto Cove, Horn Lake.
5-7 p.m. Wed., March 11th at Newk's Express Café, 3075 E. Goodman Rd., Southaven.
Another event coming up will be the "Kings of the Alley" bowling tournament on Saturday, featuring the players and Coach Kevin Kaminski. This event will take place from 2:00-5:00 PM on Saturday, February 7th, at the Strike Zone bowling alley in the Snowden Grove sports complex in Southaven.
This event is sponsored by the RiverKings With A Cause organization. The set up will have twenty lanes with five fans and one player per lane, so we are expecting over one-hundred fans taking part. Fans have been bidding on the player they want to play with and there will be a raffle of various items involved, as well.
