Beech Shutout Nominated for Performance of the Week

Last Saturday's shutout performance by RiverKings' goaltender Kevin Beech has been nominated for the CHL "Performance of the Week." Beech stopped 26 shots on goal in the RiverKings 4-0 shutout of the Rapid City Rush. It was Beech's third shutout of the season, putting him on top of the stat category in the league standings.
Fans can vote online through Monday, February 9th, at www.centralhockeyleague.com with the Performance of the Week winner to be announced on Tuesday, February 10th.
The RiverKings tangle with the Wichita Thunder tonight at the DeSoto Civic Center, beginning at 7:05 PM. Tickets are available through the DCC ticket office or Ticketmaster. Groups of ten or more get a discount on tickets when they order them through the RiverKings offices at 662-342-1755.
