RiverKings game in Corpus Christi changes date
January 9, 2008 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Mississippi RiverKings News Release
Following their recent six-game road string that included games in South Texas, the Mississippi RiverKings have to slightly alter the travel plans for their next major road trip.
The RiverKings had originally planned on playing the Corpus Christi Rayz on Feb. 2 at 8:05 p.m. However, the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi has pulled the date. With the RiverKings coming a long way to travel, the Rayz moved the game to the closest available date.
Since the RiverKings have a game against the Laredo Bucks on Feb. 1, their game against the Rayz will now take place on Jan. 31 at 7:05 p.m.
The date change affects the RiverKings during their other six-game road string this season, as they have a Jan. 25 game in Tulsa against the Oilers. Following the games against the Rayz and the Bucks, the RiverKings have three games in Youngstown against the SteelHounds on Feb. 8, 9 & 10.
