RiverKings activate Wenzel, Dumont granted leave

YOUNGSTOWN, OH --- Memphis RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin McClelland announced today that the team has activated forward Sheldon Wenzel off the 45-day IR and also that center Louis Dumont has been granted leave by the Central Hockey League.

Wenzel has been on the injured list since suffering a knee injury in a game on November 5. Dumont was granted leave in order to allow him to remain home for the birth of his and his wife's second child.

The RiverKings open a three game weekend series with the Youngstown Steelhounds tonight at 6:05 CST at the Chevrolet Centre in Youngstown. The game can be heard live on Sports 56 WHBQ (AM 560) with pregame coverage beginning at 5:45.
