Arizona's Brent Kelly Called Up by Albany

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs today announced that Central Hockey League leading goal scorer Brent Kelly has been called up by the Sundogs American Hockey League affiliate, the Albany River Rats.

In 49 games with the Sundogs this season, Kelly leads the CHL with 40 goals and is third in the league with 82 points. The Kitchener, Ontario native is the first player in the CHL this season to reach the 40 goal plateau.

Kelly is no stranger to the American Hockey League, appearing in 167 contests over three seasons with the Saint John Flames, Cleveland Barons, Grand Rapids Griffins and most recently the Philadelphia Phantoms. During his time in the AHL, the 25-year-old forward has totaled 26 goals, 38 assists and 71 penalty minutes including a 39-point total with Philadelphia in 2005-06.
