PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Sundogs All-Star forward Brent Kelly collected two goals in Arizona's 3-2 shootout win against New Mexico Wednesday night, becoming the first player in the Central Hockey League this season to reach the 40 goal mark.
The next closest player behind Kelly in the CHL goal scoring race is Colorado's Riley Nelson with 35.
Kelly's 82 points rank third in the CHL behind Youngstown SteelHounds players Jeff Christian (96) and Chris Richards (91).
