
Riverhounds Fall to Eagles 2-1

Washington Wild Things News Release
The Riverhounds FC (5-10-3 18 pts.) lost their match to the Charlotte Eagles (13-4-2 41 pts.) Saturday in Charlotte, NC.
Ricardo Ordain scored for the Eagles in the 32nd minute. Ordain hit a shot, beating Lucas Heasley at the top left corner.
In the second half Charlott's Jacob Coggins scored a goal in the 69th minute. Coggins received a pass from Chris Lemons and then turned to blast a shot to the right, beating Heasley high.
The Riverhounds scored a goal on a penalty kick in the final minute of the match . Mira Mupier took a penalty kick because of Josh Rife's slide tackle in the box. The kick beat Goal Keeper McClellan, taking the score to 2-1.
The Riverhounds return home to Falconi Field to host Northern Virginia on August 9th and the Columbus Crew on August 10th.
