
RiverHawks Stadium to Host IHSA Super-Sectional

LOVES PARK, Ill. - RiverHawks Stadium will play host to two IHSA Class 4-A Super-Sectional baseball games Monday, June 4 at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
"We are happy to partner with the IHSA once again to bring these games to the Rockford area," RiverHawks general manager Brad Sholes said. "We promote baseball at all levels. The Super-Sectional Games are just two among hundreds of amateur baseball games we host each year."
The 4:30 p.m. game will feature Oak Park-River Forest vs Highland Park. Oak Park-River Forest defeated Park Ridge 10-8 in the Evanston Sectional. Highland Park defeated Mundelein 7-3 in the Glenview Sectional.
The 7 p.m. game will be between the winner of South Elgin/Fox Lake vs Schaumburg. Schaumburg beat Villa Park 11-1 in their sectional at Schaumburg.
Admission is $5 at the gate and the gates open at 3:30 p.m.
The winners will advance to the IHSA State Finals and play each other at 3 p.m. at Silver Cross Field in Joliet.
